Who are the Masons?

Masons in Olympia, Tumwater and Lacey congregate at Harmony Lodge #18, the friendliest Lodge in Thurston County, WA. Our Lodge includes a broad cross-section of the community and we welcome men over the age of 18 who want to improve themselves by associating with like-minded peers. Our membership is distributed fairly evenly across age groups and by profession, although because of the proximity to Fort Lewis (JBLM), many of our members are active duty military or veterans.

The Masonic Fraternity is the oldest Fraternity in the world. The Masonic Family includes Masons as well as organizations for their ladies, couples, and youth.

The Masonic Family provides more than $2 million a day to charitable activities such as hospitals, youth scholarship, and those less fortunate than we.

Greetings from Worshipful Master Ross

Brothers,

The theme for Harmony 18 for 2013 is "Have Fun!" In support of this theme Harmony will have guest Past Masters who will be running the 2nd meeting of the month (complete meeting) for 2013. I still have some vacant spots, so if you are a Harmony 18 Past Master and would like to participate come to lodge and let me know.

You also may bring in a hat that you would like the Master (Guest Past Master or Me) to wear for that meeting. Should we have more than one fun hat it will be at the discretion of the brothers on which hat will be worn. For purposes of decorum a top hat will be worn for degree work and situations requiring this emblem of seriousness.

Well Brothers I opened and closed the first meeting of 2013 and I must say I will be taking the "Rusty Master Degree" before the next meeting. However, the remaining members of your line did a exceptional job. Please come to lodge and join in the theme "Have Fun!" and see your line perform they are strong dedicated Masons and are representing Harmony 18 in Strong Form!

I look forward to seeing all the Brothers in lodge. Have Fun

Fraternally,
WB Ross
